This series of fuses for semiconductor device protection (hereinafter referred to as “fuse”) consists of two parts: the fuse link and the base. It is suitable for industrial electrical distribution equipment with AC 50Hz, rated voltage up to 1000V, and rated current up to 630A. The fuse is mainly used for short-circuit protection (aR) of semiconductor components such as rectifier diodes and thyristors.
The fuse link is a consumable part that needs to be replaced after activation. It is composed of a fuse element, fuse tube, arc-extinguishing medium, and contact plates. The fuse element is encapsulated within the fuse tube, which is filled with an adequate amount of arc-extinguishing medium. Both ends of the fuse element are firmly connected to the contact plates, forming a direct busbar bolt connection structure. The fuse can be optionally equipped with RX1 or RX1D series fuse indicators. When the fuse element blows, the indicator activates simultaneously, triggering a micro switch and driving other auxiliary electrical devices to alert the operator.
